Brief History of CNAHS The legal basis of the creation and opening of the Cateel National Agricultural High School is House Bill No. 16636 and passed on as R.A. No. 5693 approved on June 21, 1969. Division Superintendent Abdulcadil Manjoorsa appointed Job A. Barraca asserts Vocational School Principal with five pioneering teachers namely: Mr. Eutiquio Clarin, Mr. Alburo Sedoriosa, Mrs. Vicenta C. Magno, Mrs. Guillerma J. Enriquez and Mrs. Gabrielita B. Abella. The school originally situated in a 4 hectare lot shared with the Cateel vocational High School starts its operation in 1975 with 130 students,60 of which turned out the first batch on 1979. In 1984 however, the school is transferred to its present site at Lambog, San Alfonso, Cateel, Davao Oriental, where 65 students were accounted for in its 21st batch of graduates for School Year 1999-2000.
